Our story

The story of the AVA Room started in our home in Espoo in 2006 as we wondered how to make bunk beds easier - so that the child would know how to do it himself. From this everyday realization came a zippered easy-to-make AVA bed covers. When our four-year-old son had been bedding himself in the morning without guidance, we realized that we had planned something revolutionary. Our product family soon grew into cots and bunk beds for small spaces. From there, our family business has passed to this day.

With six children in our family, we believe we have the best product testers in the world. Children are growing and needs are changing. When designing products, we take into account how everyday life could be made even easier. That's why everything is based on a timeless and aesthetically beautiful product that grows with different situations in life.

AVA Room designs and manufactures all products in Finland in a responsible and environmentally sound manner. Our products are designed to beautify our homes and the environment. Maintaining our work and know-how in Finland is important to us, which is why we work with a long-established furniture factory in Jurva. It's great to work with a partner with the same values - happy employees make happier products.
